Confirmed from Fox Hills Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Fox Hills Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (965 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 6 mentions

“My son is handicapped & although it was difficult to get him to the park (they have a rough path for wheelchairs) it was a fun, relaxing & clean park once we got to it.”

We love this park. There’s tons of different activities you can do: tennis, pickleball (dedicated courts!), soccer, basketball, playground. You see people running on the path or folks having gatherings or birthdays in the field. One plus is that there is almost always an open tennis court.

★★★★★ — Jared , Jul 2025

Ample parking around the park. Not a huge park but also not small like a block by block square /park. Multiple tennis courts. Basketball court. Picnic tables with grills. Playground (for toddlers and older kids. Seesaw, slide, but no swings). Slight hill walk to enter. Can enter for two streets entrances.

Went for morning walk. The trail is mostly gravel, circles the entire park and loops through the park and around the perimeter. There is great scenery, some slight inclines and lots of people, at this time. Felt safe.

★★★★★ — Heather , Oct 2022

Lots of things to do here. You can play basketball, walk on trails, workout on the grass, have a birthday party, play paddle tennis, and they have a few pieces of workout equipment throughout the park. Very good for walking a few days a week. They have now added movie night to their lineup of summer events.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 6 mentions

“Nice restrooms, open clean field, plenty of benches, clean walking paths.”
