Confirmed from Fox Park, La Porte's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Grassy lakeside area featuring a skatepark, walking path & an amphitheater with summer concerts.
What runners say about Fox Park, La Porte
“Awesome playground areas, pretty clean, car go nice and slow.”
“Beautiful park, it was covered in snow when I visited so I am unsure about what is there.”
Really nice park. Huge lake and walking trail. Tried fishing for a few days and didn't catch anything. Lots of turtles though. Pine lake was better for fishing.
The city has done really nice upgrades to Fox Park. Great walking paths, nice lighting strung about. Accessible bathrooms, tables for picnicking, built-in corn hole boards. Always clean and taken care of when I stop by!
Beautiful park, it was covered in snow when I visited so I am unsure about what is there. I know it has places to park along the lake, and what looked like a bike / running road around the lake.
With an ampatheatre, two play parks, a skate park, baseball diamond, and walking trails along the whole lake connecting with the new Chessie Trail, it is a huge park with lots to do.
