Fantastic trail, super well maintained. The trail itself is quite intense, and the views are a long way from the trailhead, so come for a workout or expect a workout if you're coming for a view.
It's a trail with steep and flat surfaces which is really good for cardio. Beware of loose rocks and twigs on the trail.
A beautiful example of this region's hardwood forests. From the parking lot, the trail starts with a 150+ foot incline to the top of a ridge. You can also start off-trail by following a small creek up the valley with the main Fox Run trail off to your right.
We didn’t do full trail. Had a great hike today at Fox Run Trail with friends! We went close 2.5 miles and returned back and gained close to 1000 ft elevation. Great fall colours too in October.
