Confirmed from Frankie Carter Randolph Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Frankie Carter Randolph Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (574 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“This park is so nice and clean.”

This park is so nice and clean. Family park with baseball field and football field. Enough space for you to play ball or just picnic. Enough table's and barbecue pit. There is a walking trail around the park, it does combine with the road, so be careful while crossing the road. Restroom available and always clean.

★★★★★ — Nessmor_ , Nov 2021

This park has the best walking trails that go deep into the woods. Lots of cool features, critters and plants to take in. Front half of the park is for kids, events and baseball. The rest of the park is for hiking

★★★★★ — Grove , May 2025

This park has alot of different things for people of all ages. There are multiple playgrounds, pavillons, tennis courts, ball fields, and lots of walking trails.

Gotta love those hidden back trails. I've been walking them since I was a kid, and it'll never get old. Great to have a natural-feeling walk in Friendswood. There are restrooms that are pretty standard for public parks, play sets, and pavilions to rent. This park is a community staple.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🔁 Loop trail 3 mentions

“My only downfall with the park, people walk the main loop that is on the main road that most people drive by slowly but not all.”
