Confirmed from Freedlander Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sports fields & courts, an 18-hole disc-golf course, play equipment & a seasonal swimming pool.
What runners say about Freedlander Park
“They offer a playground, pond with fishing available, many sites to grill, a beautiful building to rent for parties and there is a pool as well.”
“I sat at a place that was really calm and serene.”
Great frisbee golf course (minus all the poison ivy along the paths, did get a tick there too). Cute little pond with lots of frogs and one big carp. Best of all, toadstools!
This is another really nice park with major tree canopy, a pond, frisbee golf, tennis courts, updated playground set, walking paths, and from where I was sitting it looked like there was a baseball diamond. I sat at a place that was really calm and serene.
This park is a charming place to stop on lunch break and talk a quick walk. Rolling landscape, woods, and a picnic area make Freelander Park a must-visit when in Wooster.
Many great places here within the park for recreation and relaxation, trails, lake, pavilions, basketball court, baseball diamond, and of course the pool.
