Confirmed from Freedom Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Lakeside park featuring a pier and trails for fishing and walking, plus picnic sites.

We have been in search of a quiet, clean park by the water. This park is so chill. It has picnic tables and benches and a few grills. It sits right on the water. It even has some restrooms! Also, it is right by the biking trail that runs along the water. So if you are a biker like us, this is very nice place to visit.
Beautiful walk and pleasing place where u can feel the peaceful flowing of Lake Erie. Best time ia ti visit during sunset .
Nice peaceful walk. Sound of water rush down the river. Enjoyed refreshing calm breeze embracing your face in the midst of November
Calm and serene place with some breathtaking views. One of the places that you must absolutely visit. Older folks, couples as well as family will definitely enjoy the walk and the views all around. Recommend visiting in the evening, through dusk.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- SurfaceBoardwalk — flat and scenic, and slick when wet, so watch your footing
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
