Confirmed from Unity Island Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Grassy island in the Niagara River offers bridge & Canadian shoreline views, plus picnic sites.
What runners say about Unity Island Park
“Buffalo’s waterfront is a well-kept secret.”
“It was a beautiful day the clouds were just bursting with faces I couldn't think of any better place to go to”
GOOD VIEWS, FISHING AND A TRAIL It's a nice spot for fishing and the view is mesmerizing. The mini bridge to the park is a two-way but has only one lane. If it's your first time, don't get confused as I was. If you see oncoming vehicles, just wait for them to cross the bridge, as a courtesy.
Nice wide open space. Beautiful paths along the river. Wish there wasn't so much garbage though.
This 🧐Park is perfect for a person with a strong desire to walk next to the great sound of water, because these short 🤩waterfalls are great, plus the place is also nice for taking🙄 pictures or just romantic walks with your special someone😉. The park is just basically lovely for walks, pictures and fishing
Great water front park with trails and hills and a great view of the Rive and Lake.
