We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Freemont Springs Hiking Trail yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Freemont Springs Hiking Trail
Great little hike between two neighborhoods. The views along the trail are really good. There is a little shade (not many trees).
Great natural trail which is an easier switch back hike for most of it and steeper at the top. Great view at the pinnacle! Took us about an hour up and back and I'm not in great shape. You can bring your dog.
Great trail - we really enjoyed the rock formation at the end of the trail.
Nice moderate uphill trail, about 10-15 minutes to the top ridge with views of eagle mountain and Saratoga and Utah lake. Very fun if you live nearby and can spot your house!
