Confirmed from Friendship Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Pretty, clean, local park featuring a popular skate park, plus picnic tables and a playground.
What runners say about Friendship Park
“As always a clean potty 😂 because we can't play at the playground without having to go.”
“A massive field in a quiet Texas Town.”
The friendship park is very underestimated. I grew up going to this park and I still go to it from time to time. I hope to bring my future children here also. They have a track, a skate park (newest edition), they have a playground and a really tall swirly slide that all the children love. There's lot to do here.
Nice little park, plenty of shaded picnic tables. A lot of room for the kids to run off some excess energy. Not too much play equipment bit enough the keep the kids interested for about a half-hour. Skate park addition was an awesome bonus.
Lots of area for kids to play. New skate park my kids love hope they add on. Pavillion large for birthday or team party with electricity. Walk path around is nice too. There are tennis courts and back stops for baseball practice. The playground could use some upgrades but it's fun for smaller kids 2-8.
Nice family park. There's a new small place for skateboarders and a tennis court. A place to walk or jog around the park and a nice playground for the kiddos. Also a place to picnic and barbeque. Nice park.
Trail conditions & character
“The tennis courts now also have lines drawn for PickleBall, and they have put lights up to illuminate the courts at night.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
