Confirmed from Furman Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sports such as baseball & tennis can be played at this public park with restrooms.
What runners say about Furman Park
“The park keep the restroom clean and the play ground clean for the kids and the people are respectful and the events it's fun we love that park 😀”
“I have visited a few months back and again today (2022) and the Park is just as beautiful”
This park is a great place to get so many fun activities done. You can find a running/walking trail, swings, basketball & tennis courts, baseball. There's also gazebos and grills where you can bbq. This is the place to bring family for relaxing, exercise, passing time, playing games and have a fun.
This was my childhood park in the late 60s and 70s when I lived on Julius Street. Would walk over every day to play. Had a huge lions head drinking fountain that I knew was going to bite my head off one day. But the water was always good.
The park is clean and I like the walking trail. Plenty of space to sit and relax or you can play tennis. I will definitely come back.
Great walking trail. Super easy and relaxed. The trees are incredible. Tennis courts r usable but need better care.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.

- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
