Confirmed from G. Thomas DiDomenico Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground and water-view green space featuring basketball and tennis courts, plus picnicking.
What runners say about G. Thomas DiDomenico Park
“The park & restrooms are usually pretty clean.”
“It's beautiful and a fun place where he meets other dogs and just run around.”
Nice park to relax and take walks. On the day I went there, lots of ducks were taking a break, so cute!
Great park with two levels along the west waterfront of Bayonne at 16th street. It has baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, walking paths, basketball courts, a small golf teeing area amd various playgrounds at both he upper and lower level. There is also a City pool here
I absolutely love coming down to the 16th St / City park area. Great walks, good play areas, lots of space , and fun views. The parks are half the reason I love living in Bayonne.
This is a nice water front park with an area for kiddies to enjoy themselves with playground equipment or if you prefer you can stroll along the walking path and watch boats go by. It can be very relaxing to just sit on a bench by the water.
Trail conditions & character
“I found this park by mistake because I made a wrong turn and drove right into it now I visit sometimes just to enjoy the view.”
“I saw there’s a bathroom but I didn’t use it so no comment on its condition.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
