Confirmed from Stephen R. Gregg Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
This bayfront park has many recreational amenities, including sports facilities & a playground.

We came on a sunny day and were pleasantly surprised by the entry road from the middle, which has plenty of flowers and is well maintained. The broad walk is a bit short, but is breezy and also very welcoming.
I love this park. I consider it my own personal park, as it has a cozy uncrowded feel, but is actually quite large, spacious, and varied. There are several different sections and each has its own style and beauty and attitude.
Great park! Often come here to relax and read a book, heavily shaded with giant trees and lots of benches. When I want a bit of physical activity the 10 tennis courts provide available fun without a wait. That's my preference.
This is the largest park in Bayonne. there you will find fields for different sport (baseball, football, basket and an athletic track), BQ area, trails for jogging, biking and dog walking.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run

- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
