This place is the perfect "hideaway" from the city. Its peaceful, quiet, and beautiful (especially if you go off the beaten path). Great place to study, exercise, or hike.
6/26: Lots of shade, a big pond, and beautiful trees to view on the walking path. Frisbee golf course is popular with the college kids. Path has a bumpy varied incline so probably wouldn't accommodate a wheelchair very safely. Dog friendly (bring your own poop bag). Several picnic tables.
Great place to go fishing or just to walk on the trails. They should really fix the benches and picnic tables tho. And the walking trails need to be fixed up to but others then that it's a pretty nice park.
Great place to walk in the AM. Would like to see some area lighting after dark though since it will see a lot of traffic during the fall and spring.
