We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Gateway Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great spot for families and kids. A lot of grass for field sports like soccer, volleyball and running around. You can seat on the bench or just at the grass weigh blanket. Playground has lots of entertainment for little kids as well. Plus you can ride scooter around.

Beautiful park located in Sunny Isles Beach. Huge open space for kids to run around or play ball. The playground is new and always clean. I love coming to this playground on the weekends as it is secured all around and it barely gets crowded.

★★★★★ — Paula , Mar 2018

Is a perfect park for all age. There are garage parking not free but pat for hour (not for all day). You can reach the beach also walking from the park. In the park there is a big green area with real grass. Perfect for a lot of game for the kids or lie down on.

★★★★★ — Ilaria , Jun 2021

A great place for children under 5 years. There is a pretty big plays at to climb. There aren't any swings though. It has a big patch of grass for running. The park also has a stage to be used in the future for events. The park still hasn't been handed over to the city by the developer.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
