The boardwalk is fixed and this entire trail is open. This is an easy trail made a bit more strenuous by the loose sand and slight elevation changes. This trail offers some nice views of Gator Lake. This trail will connect you to the Pine Beach Trail in Bon Secour NWR. I saw several birds and lots of beautiful plants.
Very nice trail, upset that I couldn't find that observation tower. Not the trails fault, I just got lost and misinterpreted the map.
Nice little walk. Bring water if you want to do the entire trail. Easy walk and some wild life if you can keep kids quiet. No pes
Sandy trail down to the lake and lagoon. Beautiful lookout point to the lagoon. Can also connect to other trails if you want.
