Confirmed from Gator Lake Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

The boardwalk is fixed and this entire trail is open. This is an easy trail made a bit more strenuous by the loose sand and slight elevation changes. This trail offers some nice views of Gator Lake. This trail will connect you to the Pine Beach Trail in Bon Secour NWR. I saw several birds and lots of beautiful plants.

Very nice trail, upset that I couldn't find that observation tower. Not the trails fault, I just got lost and misinterpreted the map.

Nice little walk. Bring water if you want to do the entire trail. Easy walk and some wild life if you can keep kids quiet. No pes

Sandy trail down to the lake and lagoon. Beautiful lookout point to the lagoon. Can also connect to other trails if you want.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
