Confirmed from Gene L Voyles Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Recreation spot with a playground, picnic tables, and walking areas, plus Christmas lights.
What runners say about Gene L Voyles Park
“Extremely well tended to, restrooms just inside the building that are always clean, just a beautiful place to come visit with your family.”
This park is close to my daughter's house. My wife and I like to go there for walks they also have a pet Park and are pet friendly throughout the entire park. They have walking paths picnic areas biking areas basketball courts exercise places and are convenient and easy to get to in a very safe area of the city.
Great park to relax, enjoy a meal at the covered pavilion, or take a walk on the concrete walkway with or without you pet. Also a playground area for the kids.
With what little this place actually has, they do a lot with it! My favorite is Christmas time when there are lights allll the way around the running loop!
Trail conditions & character
“We stopped to look at the lights, with two of our grandchildren, and ended up enjoying the lighted tunnels and other decorations.”

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
