Confirmed from Quanah Hill Bike Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Mountain-bike area with winding trails, climbs and descent sections, along with lakeshore views.

“The trail is well-maintained and the terrain varies throughout so it never gets boring.”
“You get some beautiful views along the way and you'll probably meet at least a few deer while you're out here too.”
Wow, I didnt know what to expect when showing up and GPS got us lost twice before arriving!! Be sure to get the address right; its 809 and right by a power station off the road listed. You pull into an open gate and park in the lot designated. There are trail maps and signs.
This is a nicely designed xc trail with a few somewhat intense climbs but they pay off with some fast and fun descents. A little on the short side at just 7+ miles but worth it. You get some beautiful views along the way and you'll probably meet at least a few deer while you're out here too.
One of the best trail in DFW! Always a blast every time I ride out in Quanah. The trail is always well maintained and has nice views of the lake. Parking is also great since there isn’t much traffic anytime of the day.
This is my favorite trail on the west side of DFW. It is probably my favorite trail in the entirety of DFW, but I have not hiked many trails on the east side. The trail is well-maintained and the terrain varies throughout so it never gets boring. The distance of about 7.3 miles is perfect too. Lots of wildlife!

“It was a little muddy but nothing too bad.”
