We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Genevieve Casey Nature Sanctuary yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Genevieve Casey Nature Sanctuary
“It's all very beautiful and untarnished but, seeing as i was wearing heels, i only made it about 1 hour before being forced to retreat.”
10/10 would get lost here again lol. I'm in Michigan on a business trip and decided on a whim to google the nearest trail right after work. This one came up and, in my work clothes because my hotel is too far away, i decided to go for it. There isn't really a trail.
Short, yet quite beautiful walking trail. Unfortunately upkeep of path is not maintained well, but natural creek to woodland setting make up for neglect.
Trail conditions & character
“More like a slightly trampled path connecting markers throughout the reserve.”
