Confirmed from Irelan Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly greenspace featuring a playground and baseball fields, plus shelter areas.
What runners say about Irelan Park
“Very clean and nice park and in walking distance to the pond down the street.”
“It was clean and quiet very relaxing beautiful morning 🌅”
Fun playground for the kids! Lots of climbing opportunities. Walking trail and hills for kids to run and to sled on in winter.
Awesome we and my daughter went sledding and it was her first time down a big hill. And there was a ramp that was covered in ice. We had the best time we never get to do stuff like that. Loved it!
Great park to take your kids, also has a small pathway for jogging. 4 stars because the ground could be fixed up some...a few areas where kids could easily trip if not paying attention.
Took my granddaughter there ....she's 3 and could play on some of the stuff there with supervision. Very clean and nice park and in walking distance to the pond down the street.
Trail conditions & character
“No restrooms except a porta-potty and equipment is probably best for older kids.”
“My only suggestion would be more parking however there is not room for that.”

The practical stuff
- AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
