Confirmed from George Rogers Clark National Historical Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park dedicated to a Revolutionary War hero, with a rotunda decorated with murals & a 7.5-ft. statue.
What runners say about George Rogers Clark National Historical Park
“It's so amazing to walk in this monument and learn more about American history and also see some great views of Vincennes!”
Had a great time visiting. The park ranger was very nice and helpful. The monument is absolutely beautiful, especially on the inside. Love learning about the historical events that took place here in Indiana! If you like visiting National Parks, Monuments, Scenic Trails, Historic sites, etc…this should be on your list!
Great place to walk around. Would have given it 5 stars if the memorial was wheelchair accessible. Also had trouble with the automatic doors in the welcome center.
The tour guides are so incredible, knowledge, and passionate about the history. It's so amazing to walk in this monument and learn more about American history and also see some great views of Vincennes! Make sure to check it out. AMERICA!!!!
It's a beautiful old round building and during the summer you can visit inside 7 days a week. There is no cost. They have a beautiful walkway along the Wabash River, if you walk 1.6 miles you land in a nice park.
