Confirmed from George W Martin City Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (296 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 5 mentions

“We really appreciate the clean and covered picnic area and the separate pavillion.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“Beautiful nature trail and my family loves walking on the pier.”

🌳 shaded & cool 5 mentions

“Needs more benches and tables in the shade areas for parents to watch the children.”

This park is so beautiful and private and quiet. There is a nature walk that is about half a mile and there is so much wildlife to see. There's also a water park for kids to play cool off and two more playgrounds for the kids to play. Additionally there is a boat ramp just down the street from the park.

Great park and splash pad!! There’s also a walking path behind it and workout area. The park is clean and has bathrooms. The kids loved it!!

It's a nice area to take your children for some outside fun. The splash pad was great for an 80° day. Overall, the place seems well looked after and clean. Please, just make sure to watch your children on the splash pad. They can get really hurt if one child is running around like crazy and bulldozes into another.

One of my personal favorites and definitely a great walk in the park for the whole family and friends. Also has fitness fun to get exercise with. If that's the goal for the day beyond just a walk. Otherwise very beautiful and chill atmosphere.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
