Confirmed from George Washington Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful little park kept in line with the surrounding Victorian and craftsman style homes. Has equipment for toddlers and bigger kids and plenty of shade. Best of all it is quiet and clean with plenty of parking. The flower lined path is amazing and ends in a gazebo, must see. No restrooms though :(

Neat little historic park to walk around and enjoy. Has a playground for the kids, a gazebo if u want to just hangout and a neat flower walkway. Plus the monument as well. Very awesome.

★★★★★ — Joe , Oct 2024

Quiet and great for a healthy walk. We got our steps in felt safe and could talk without yelling. Sad that’s a thing. Oh and you can catch FRAN from there.

★★★★★ — Michael , May 2023

Its got shade. Not as rapey as you might think it is. See? Heres my next victim, and she has no clue. ☺

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 6 mentions

“There are no restrooms but plenty of trees to sit and have a picnic.”
