Good points, it's tucked away inside of a neighborhood so it's very quiet. The playground is nice and in good shape. My son enjoyed playing on the playground. The trail is lovely with the trees, lake and fountain. I enjoyed seeing the bamboo by the bridges and seeing the ducks.
This is a small but nice park that we found in a area we were nearby. At the time we were there is was no one else there. The small lake was relaxing. This park has shaded areas and a nice gazebo on the lake. The decking throughout was freshly redone.
I love this park and it's wild life. However. I'd like to find a way to report injured animals. This is the second time I get to see an injured duck. His/her leg it's injured and can barely walk. I think needs to see a vet ASAP specially for our current weather conditions.
A nice little hidden treasure of a park in Hoover. The lake has ducks, geese, and turtles. The playground is appropriate for multiple ages of children with two different playgrounds. The loop around the park is neat because half of it is a bridge that gets you right into nature.
