Confirmed from Girl Scout Mountain/North Mountain Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Picnic-ready park with mountain vistas for climbing, hiking and nature sightings.
What runners say about Girl Scout Mountain/North Mountain Park
“U can see the greatest sunsets God has for u also, love this place, I hope they STOP builing there :( beautiful place ;)”
“It's generally quiet, sporting several ramadas, some with fire place and toilets/trashcans adjacent.”
I would have given this place a 5 out of 5 but, we found broken glass all over the trails and around the picnic area. It doesnt make it very friendly for small kids or fur babies at certain spots. On a positive note, the trails were beautiful and easily managed by our pups and a toddler.
This is my favorite place for a quick hike! You can make the hike as easy or as challenging as the company you take along! It's a beautiful view when you get to the top!
I truly love this park! True to other reviews, there is some glass and ongoing issues with graffiti. However locals and parks and recreation work hard to keep on top of people's lack of consideration. BUT!! This is my favorite place within Casa Grande to visit.
Just a awesome place too take the family and have a good time and hike around the place
