Confirmed from Girsh Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Wonderful community/neighborhood park and sports fields. The park is run as nonprofit to serve the needs of local residents. They have a number of baseball fields, soccer fields, restrooms, and picnic tables and a small community center, basketball courts, and a playground . The Goleta Lemon Festival is also held here.

This is the best park in Goleta. It's huge and options for kids play arena, basketball, soccer, skate and just walk around. Onsite free parking is always a convenient option. There is a dedicated soccer practice ground adjacent to that, which requires prior booking.

★★★★★ — Prasenjit , Mar 2022

The playground in this park is small, but there is plenty to do. There is ice-skating close to it and a cafe. There are other stores and restaurants close by. It is a great place to play basketball or soccer. You can walk your dog here, if you play Pokemon go this is a great place for it.

★★★★★ — Lilly , Jun 2021

Great park in Goleta. It's always well-kept and clean. It's perfect for walking your dog or simply relaxing reading a book on a bench. If you're in a sports mood, you could play basketball or soccer. During the weekend you could watch Little League baseball games.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 9 mentions

“Playground, soccer field, large parking lot, lots of green open spaces, trees, flowers, and nearby to the ice skating rink.”
