Beautiful trail and a hidden gem. This trail gives you unique blend of nature and bird watching opportunities while having a peaceful nature walk leading to beautiful Ellwood beach.

Although I'm sure UCSB would have rather paved over it like they did the other portion of the open space, there has been a great deal of work done to actually preserve this as an open area and put up educational signage
It’s a nice place for jogging and have a easy stroll. This trail is flat and environment friendly! You can find small animals showing up frequently!
