A beautiful park in the middle of Verona! One of the few places that hasn't been developed on and has maintained originality over a long time. It's a relaxing place to escape for a walk or bike ride. Admission is free to the public. And dogs are welcome with a permit. It's a scenic place to get a work out and relax.
We love to take long walks here. There are paved trails and grass trails. I enjoy the many kinds of plants, insects, and animals that are around. Lots of wild raspberries, wildflowers and milkweed. Also many monarch butterflies and red winged blackbirds.
Beautiful and big park! The trails are well maintained, and is kept very clean! Watch out for the bikes, though; there’s a few blind spots, where you they can’t always see you!
