Confirmed from Quarry Ridge Recreation Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Public park with a variety of hiking & off-road mountain biking trails, plus picnic tables.
What runners say about Quarry Ridge Recreation Area
The trails here have more features and diversity than most other parks in the area. I'd recommend coming here over CamRock and alpine valley, especially if you're a beginner. Photos were taken on Three Sisters
Best mountain biking within 20 minutes of downtown. The local mountain bike crew has put a ton of work into this place in the past few years and it is now one of my go-to spots. Good beginner loops, great climbing options and some really fun intermediate and advanced downhill.
Went riding at Quarry Ridge yesterday and had a blast! The trail network, while short, is super flowy. Lots of great berms at just the right spots. I did a bunch of laps and never got bored. For an in-town quick lap trail network, this place rocks!
Small but super fun! As a beginner, there were plenty of trails I could do and lots of trails I have yet to try. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get in to mountain biking AND to pros looking for a fun spot.
