Confirmed from Glass City Metropark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Waterfront park featuring a splash area, playgrounds and a skating ribbon.

“THEY HAVE A GORGEOUS "RIVER WALK" IF YOU HAVENT SEEN IT YET, GO CHECK IT OUT CHILDREN WILL LOVE IT TOO.”
Wow, this place was beyond awesome. Just happened to see it was their after visiting the Museum of the Great Lakes right next to it. Just recently completed last year I believe. The splash pad waterfall and rivers was a amazing design. This place really brought out the people on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend.
So many fun activities to do for kids and adults. Beautiful new river walk with roller rink or ice rink during the winter. Large facility with restaurant/bar inside. Spaces to reserve outside with covered table and a fire pit area. Definitely checkout the wooden deck area over the water with the rope hammocks built in.
Once an industrial wasteland along the Maumee River, Glass City Metropark in Toledo, Ohio, represents one of the most ambitious urban renewals in the Great Lakes region. Historically, this site was dominated by heavy industry and docking facilities that cut the community off from the waterfront.
This park makes me proud to be a Toledoan!!! I’m so happy we have this park now. It has so much to do and so much to explore for all ages! Right on the river is this large riverfront playground. I love going to The Market for a bite to eat at The Garden and walking the paths.
