Confirmed from Manhattan Marsh Preserve Metropark's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Marsh ringed with woodlands, this 1.3-mile loop trail is known for attracting many birds.
What runners say about Manhattan Marsh Preserve Metropark
“Lovely loop trail, well maintained as all Metroparks are.”
“It's great to have such a new and beautiful metropark in this part of town.”
Absolutely beautiful. Our favorite dog walking park. Great bridges that take you out to the middle of the water. Lots of wild life and very clean.
This beautiful metropark is full of wildlife! Spotted 7 turtles, so many birds, 4 deer, and a coyote in the 1.3 mile loop. Plenty of places to rest and take in the sights. I can’t believe it’s right in the neighborhood - such a treasure!
Love this little park, it’s right in the neighborhood. I love the outlooks places you can sit and enjoy nature or birdwatch. The trail is 1.3miles with little terrain which is so perfect for running. Restrooms here.. picnic/grills are available there’s even a basketball court!
I really didn't know the marsh was that big! My gr-daughter and I, and our dog, walked for about an hour and a half. The only issue I had, was they need to post better directions along the trail. We ended up coming out in Suder, instead of where we parked.🤦🏻♀️🤷♀️
