Confirmed from GLCT The Paul Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about GLCT The Paul Trail
Somehow I had missed this trail over the years, based on views it's a 5 star preserve, it's the conditions of the trails that caused me to give it an overall 4 star. The area is overrun by briars, and they infringe on the trail in many spots. I can't imagine hiking it with shorts in warmer weather.
Trail conditions & character
“Hike in from the main entrance and go right and you go up to a loop around a bluff overlooking the marsh with a few straight out to the Sound.”
