Confirmed from Glenns Valley Nature Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Beautiful place for a long walk. Trails, picnic tables, lovely fall foliage.

★★★★☆ — Susan , Oct 2022

Very nice nature park with trails to walk. A lot of birds, squirrels, and chipmunks running around. When I went there was nobody else there so it was very quiet. There is a house in the park that apparently can be rented out for events.

★★★★★ — Brandon , May 2021

Beautiful little park! There are way more trails than it seems from the road, and you could easily spend 30 minutes walking them, more at a leisurely pace. The trails are neat and wide dirt paths, with the occasional root and moderate hill. The fall foliage is beautiful!

★★★★★ — Carson , Oct 2023

We were only here a short time but may go back tomorrow. Quite a few birds on a very nice trail. Only caught pictures of a few. Hopefully we can go here again.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Glenns Valley Nature Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
