Confirmed from Northwest Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This park is beautiful. The walking trails are too long. The bridges and water are relaxing to look at and listen to.

Gorgeous scenery, walking trails and tranquility in the middle of town. We took a long walk along the creek. There are benches, open spaces for play, pavilions, restrooms, parking and play equipment for kids.

My favorite park in the area! It's gorgeous and has easily accessible points in the creek to play in or sit near. There's really just 1 main trail that goes all the way to the other park and you can loop back around. Great for dog walking and has equiptment for children as well as a ton of picnic spots.

Very nice walking trails. The park area is well maintained and presentable. I will definitely be going back to get in some steps and enjoy nature. 👟👟

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 8 mentions

“But one thing, the bathrooms are very basic, they really need to improve on their bathrooms for safety.”

  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • Distance5 mi as reported — check whether that is one way or a round trip before you commit. Long enough for a real long run.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
