Confirmed from Northwest Park Annex's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Great place to walk an easy trail. One of my favorite ways to de-stress.

★★★★★ — Jonathan , May 2022

I love coming here for a great walk to destress, exercises, or hang out with a friend. There's a nice trail, with some smaller trails hidden in the woods. It's a great amenity for the surrounding areas.

★★★★★ — Eric , Apr 2023

I like the nice paved loop trail for just a simple walk along the creek with lots of places to actually get down into the creek to the water the kids love it here as well as the dogs! There are even some side trails through the woods now as well.

Nice spot. Close to home. My dog enjoys it. Connecting trails that add an additional 3/4 - 1 mile.... Paved and un- paved, single track etc. Adequate parking. Bathroom on site. Covered picnic area.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 7 mentions

“As far as the ladies bathroom goes they've been okay with extra toiletpaper even up until the last 2 weeks.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
  • At the trailheadrestrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
  • Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
