Confirmed from Golden Eagle Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with sports facilities such as baseball and softball fields, basketball and tennis courts, and a playground.
What runners say about Golden Eagle Park
“Softball fields are in excellent condition, bathrooms are well maintained, play area has separate sections for younger children and older children, nice walking path.”
“The town's Park staff is always taken beautiful care of this park even when they were short-staffed.”
“To the left of that is the shaded playground with two sections of slides and bridges along with a cool rope climbing structure that also doubles as a mini ninja warrior course!”
What a beautiful top notch park! You can't miss the parking lot as it's marked by gates that you can see from the road and there's plenty of parking. There's restrooms and water fountains. The park has a clean sidewalk that winds around its amenities.
Golden Eagle Park is a nice park near where I live. We have come here a lot. They have bathrooms and a concession stand. Tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, and a football field (for the high school only). They recently had heavy rain and had to remodel the fields.
Pretty little park, well maintained and neatly groomed. Only criticism is that playground equipment could stand some safety improvements. Case in point was grad daughter was running to swings, tipped and hit her head in steel swing support. Should have been padded.
Very nice park. Softball fields are in excellent condition, bathrooms are well maintained, play area has separate sections for younger children and older children, nice walking path.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeRunners describe real tree cover here — it makes a summer afternoon workable
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
