Confirmed from Golden Eagle Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Popular public sports facility featuring baseball fields, plus a restaurant and snack bar.
What runners say about Golden Eagle Regional Park
“It’s a beautiful setting and really well maintained.”
“Just simply beautiful to watch the sunrise creep over the hills, the warm sun taking the early morning chill away.”
We walk our German Shepherd at this fantastic park every weekend at the crack of dawn. The park is unbelievably serene and peaceful, wildlife is everywhere -- cottontail and Jack rabbits and their little families, killdeer, little birdies, quail, and the occasional coyote are always around.
We love to take our furry friend here to get fresh air and exercise. Great trails/pathways. Very well maintained. Unfortunately, there are some humans that don't see the need to pick up after their pets....and it falls onto the park maintenance to keep it clean.
Very good facilities, well planned out. Hope they add more to it. More hiking trails. Maybe plant some trees and a bigger central playground or dedicated dog area would be nice. There is alot of land available in the park area. Overall though, great sports facilities and the on-site bar and grill is awesome!!
Excellent city park with multiple sports usage. Baseball, basketball, soccer and football. Has a grill and plenty of parking. They allow dogs and our lab loves the room to run around. It’s a beautiful setting and really well maintained.
