Confirmed from Lazy 5 Regional Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park featuring playgrounds, a splash park and picnic tables.
What runners say about Lazy 5 Regional Park
“Yo this is to me the best flowing Park in the area enough time to get speed set yourself up playing your tricks without getting stressed super clean air man I love this place”
“The only downside is that the City has allowed commercial buildings to be built next door, blocking great views and taking away the openness of the park.”
“There are very nice bathrooms, and a shaded pavilion with picnic tables.”
So many excellent things packed into one area. The park equipment is older (I played on it 25 years ago) but still very fun for kids to do their thing. Tons of grass, soccer fields, trees and shade.
I was just on a walk and walked to this park from my apartment. They have a big area for big parties as well as plenty of picnic tables. They have a nice trail behind the park, not a whole lot to see, but it's nice enough.
Overall this is a well-kept beautiful park in Spanish Springs. I do have a complaint however as a taxpayer. The have fully functional indoor restrooms which they leave open with access but then post a sign and ask you to use a porta potty outside. I pay taxes for the bathroom. Nonsense.
Nice friendly family park to relax and to get exercise. The park is very clean. Great for outdoor activities for children and Great for walking your dogs. It's nice it's next to the library. In the Summer, if it gets too hot and the sun is too strong, you're at the library to go get air conditioning 😎😊🏫
