Confirmed from Gollub Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Gollub Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (84 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 7 mentions

“A hiking trail with great views, you can see Delaware Water Gap, Wind Gap, and Lehigh Gap at the same time.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 4 mentions

“This has been a quiet retreat for many years and is rarely, if ever crowded.”

A great place to go on a walk with pets and/or loved ones. We spent over an hour walking on the trail and we didn't make it to the end, so we're definitely coming back! This place is a hidden gem. Just a heads up, make sure to park in the parking lot and don't drive in past the gate.

Amazing find. It's hard to believe you're minutes away from downtown Easton. It's good to know that these undeveloped areas are still guarded and protected. It's all about the trees. A lovely, quick getaway with a very easy, walkable trail. Absolutely beautiful and serene.

Sweet little view. The walk from the parking lot, to Saint Anthony’s Nose (the overlook pictured) and back is 1.5 miles. Nice little walk. It’s a tad bit steep and rocky for about 40 feet right before the overlook. DOn’t wear flip flops. Well worth the sort walk.

The best kept “secret “ in Forks Township. A hiking trail with great views, you can see Delaware Water Gap, Wind Gap, and Lehigh Gap at the same time. An out and back hike or you can turn it into a loop. Also, loaded with berries in July.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 22 mentions

“The view of the river and the valley looked sickening, but I did not give myself enough time to check it out fully.”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking — reported by runners
