Confirmed from Goodwin Lake Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful natural area featuring a playa lake, prairie dogs and a paved walking trail.
What runners say about Goodwin Lake Trail
Goodwin Lake Trail is definitely a decent place for a walk. It's nice that Clovis, got something, as this trail wasn't here when I used to live in the area. I rate a 4/5 because there are picnic benches, benches, and a paved trail.
This is a really well maintained walking path. There are a few picnic tables and benches, perfect for a quick picnic with the family. The donkeys in the fenced area are very friendly and love scratches.
Honestly I never really walked the trail much but I do got to the new park built by it and do Parkour and stuff
Great place to walk and enjoy the animals and scenery. Prairie dogs are a riot and bossy.
