Confirmed from Greene Acres Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Family-friendly, clean park, offering a playground and fishing as well as a lake and a pond.
What runners say about Greene Acres Park
“Really lovely little clean, well kept park with a nice lake.”
“Such a beautiful place, friendly people, some good shade spots, walking path all the way around, and a few different areas to park around the area.”
Beautiful park. Running trail, benches, fishing and so many gorgeous ducks! Only downfall, as with most parks these days, some of the people 😔 I stick to daytime.
Was driving through clovis with my dogs and was looking for a park. Searched in Google maps and found this one and found out it had some lake too, so that's a bonus. Such a beautiful place, friendly people, some good shade spots, walking path all the way around, and a few different areas to park around the area.
Nice Park and Lake. Can be a bit busy at times but still very enjoyable. There's a walking trail, a nice playground, a nice blue basketball court, and some skating. Lots of geese and ducks around, my kids loves watching them. Very peaceful in the mornings.
Go- to place to jog early in the am, relaxing to fish, and fun for the kiddos to play.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
