Confirmed from Gordon F. Moore Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🏃 great for running 2 mentions

“Love that I can let my kiddo run freely without the worry of him getting lost!”

Beautiful park with a little of everything. Beautiful scenes if you walk or run. Flowers gardens (large rose garden), gazebos, bridges and a lake (you can even fish). A golf course if you're into that. Do you like frisbee golf? They have that too.

There are so many different playgrounds that you can play at. Some of them are a little bit more run down than others but there's still a large array of various sizes of playgrounds. Swings, slides, tunnels, monkey bars, etc. one of the playgrounds that's right by the front entrance is fenced in which is nice.

It is a great place to do pictures for homecoming or prom . It's a wonderful place just to go for a walk even to do a little fishing. But sometimes it's nice just to get away and relax. Great place for a family picnic. Wonderful family events take place here all the time. Go to the Alton Park and rec page.

★★★★★ — Amanda , Oct 2024

A great place for families to spend time, especially with little ones. Lots of space to let them run. There is a playground set up for special needs children. Several playgrounds in this park, you can move around. Bring extra clothes and a towels and let the kids enjoy the water fountain. Great place for picnics.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
