Confirmed from Gordon River Greenway Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Gordon River Greenway Park
“Greenway Park and the Baker Park are a beautiful and connected place for long walks and communing with nature.”
“A truly great place to enjoy nature, run, walk, skate, and/or relax.”
An excellent 5 mile bike ride through mangroves partially along a paved path alternating on raised walkways. Open until 10pm with lighting! We're from Coconut Creek which has nothing like this.
Best greenway in Naples. Period. A truly great place to enjoy nature, run, walk, skate, and/or relax. It's a must-do for runners and folks that enjoy being outdoors in 'city' nature. (Only downside is noise from the nearby airport, wish it were quieter but...) Love this area!
Ipe Wood elevated walkway. Excellent opportunities for bird and other wildlife watching. Excellent walking biking and running trails. Weekends and mornings busy, watch for speeding bikes & scooters! Nearby shops for refreshments after enjoying the Greenway.
This path is practical and scenic. I am not sure where people park without bikes scooters or skateboards. There are plenty of state parks and preserves that don’t allow that behavior but this path clearly does.

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
