Confirmed from Gould Manor Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Playground and park with a pond for fishing and baseball, plus swings.
What runners say about Gould Manor Park
“It is a very nice well-kept place that can be appreciated by all ages”
First time here was last September. Little league games galore on the weekend. Very cute! The playground is very nice. Two jungle gyms, one more catered to the tiny tots, which my toddler enjoyed. Also a nice little hiking trail, my kid enjoyed this alot too. Felt like a whole new world.
The whole park is dog friendly, and well worth visiting if you're in the area. I would have liked for there to be a trail that linked the two sections, so we didn't have to drive between.
Finally reopened! A cute park with a fun playground for kids age 2-10ish. Lake is nice to walk around.
Nice local park with a pond, and geese..... so lots of poop. To get to playground in back, you need to walk through grassy area... do not do this barefoot or flip flops. Stepping in goose poop is inevitable. Playground gets good kid reviews, lots of different things to play on.

The practical stuff
- AccessHours vary — hours are not posted for this trail, so check before an early or late run
- SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
