Confirmed from Graeser Park - Historic Wayside Rest's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Graeser Park - Historic Wayside Rest

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (137 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“A beautiful, mostly forgotten but historic park which is a treasure for the Robbinsdale + area community!”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Peaceful spot for a stroll in any season.”

Absolutely beautiful! My husband and I stopped here after we went to robbinsdale to pick something up and saw the beehive fire pit and decided to walk around. We found this great little spot! It reminds me of an enchanted garden on castle grounds!

★★★★★ — Biologicalbread , Sep 2020

Lovely restoration work. We took a walk around the pond as well and it was exceptional. Can't wait to see the rock garden restored.

★★★★★ — Sarah , Aug 2024

A great deal of work has been put into restoring the beehive grills, stone walks, stone tables, stone benches and stone walls. The concrete cementing of the walls on the north side is lavender-lilac color. Concrete sidewalks have been added. I look forward to waterworks being made functional again.

★★★★☆ — Betty , Mar 2024

Nice park overall. Very uneven ground all over so be careful walking. There is a fair bit of road noise during the day.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
