Confirmed from Graham Brown Memorial Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Graham Brown Memorial Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (303 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 9 mentions

“The park seems well maintained and is very spacious, however, like many parks allowing dogs, some owners fail to pick up after their animals.”

🌾 quiet & peaceful 3 mentions

“Super quiet, clean and overall a great place to enjoy some outdoor activities and fun.”

I run on the track it's .55 miles to a mile . I run when I'm in town on my two a days. They have kept it cleaned and nice. Only things missing is covered seating but I guess gives them more to keep up with especially with the wasp go crazy currently. Good park that has a dog park currently.

I love bringing my two dogs to the dog park at Brown Memorial Park. There’s usually other dogs there, which is great. They get to run around, chase balls, play with other dogs, and just have fun. All of the other dog owners who I have met there have all been very friendly and nice.

Not as good as the old dog park... But has a walking trail around the outside gate if you want to go for a stroll while leaving your dog play with the others, all while being able to keep and eye on your furbaby. Nice yard space.

Things are shaping up with the upgrades to the dog park and running water... huge fenced in area for off leash play. The walking track literally encircles the entire area. Well light and tennis courts are well maintained. Have never used any of the indoor facilities and probably should check those out soo.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 24 mentions

“The playgrounds are also clean and well-maintained, also they do have an area for dogs to play freely with an intimate picnic setting at the other end of the park”

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
