Confirmed from Bayou Vermilion Nature Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Bayou Vermilion Nature Trail
This is a really nice area. Still in town but perfect if you want to spend some time in nature. Watch out for snakes and homosexuals wandering the park for a casual rendez-vous (the men, not the snakes.. although I'm sure the snakes are doing it too..).
Lovely nature trail. Interesting wildlife, one can see otters and daddys and bears, oh my!
A hidden treasure. You can walk down a rustic trail along the Vermilion river.
When will you open the nature trail . Love walking my dog and we both getting exercise love to go fishing also

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
