Confirmed from Grand Woods Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Scenic

Public park with athletic fields & courts, a pavilion, picnic shelter, walking trails & disc golf.

What runners say about Grand Woods Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (815 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 3 mentions

“Had a lot of fun here over the years frisbee golfing, having pig roasts with NA, walking the trails, just a wonderful place to hang out enjoying the beautiful outdoors.”

Awesome park with plenty of walking trails and a really cool frisbee golf course. The one downside is it seems they haven’t mowed or weed whacked some areas of the course. Great trails though.

Grand Woods Park is a large park with many amenities, including a disc golf course. Beautiful hiking trails along the river.

Always clean. Great trails. 18 hole Par 3 disc golf course. Awesome views of the grand river. Sizeable childrens play areas. Pet friendly. Dirt Rc car track. Something for everyone.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
