Grandad Bluff Park is the perfect spot to stop when traveling I90 highway. The park is easy to access and is free entry. The best views can be seen from the top of the park where you have unreal views of the valley below. The park offers many beautiful viewing areas that showcase different sights.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Grandad Bluff Park is one of the standout landmarks in the La Crosse area and a place that really shows off the beauty of the Coulee Region. The drive up through the park is scenic on its own, and once you reach the overlook the view of the Mississippi River Valley and the city below is outstanding.
This is a beautiful park that provides magnificent views of the city of La Crosse and the Mississippi River and the vales of the area. It was easy to get to and there was ample parking available at the park. Nice spot for a little hiking as well.
We went for a hike on Grandads Bluff Trail or Park. I haven’t been up here in a long time. The trails were very easy in length and not as wide as I would like but fine for single file hiking. We parked at the top of Grandad Park, walked to The Alpine Inn and hit a few trailheads on the sides of the road.
