Confirmed from Myrick Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Enduring park with paved paths, a large wooden play structure, picnic areas & a nature center.

What runners say about Myrick Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,066 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

🏞️ beautiful scenery 4 mentions

“Beautiful park where the Turned Leaf Festival (sober alternative to Oktoberfest) was celebrated today.”

Has restrooms (during seasonal hours), I love the options of a bike path to walk, amazing view, castle park, great for toddlers as well. We had an amazing time

★★★★★ — Chuggle , Mar 2025

Fun park with a variety of scenery and trails. Lots to do and see here. Trails go through the marsh. There is a community garden. A big playground (away from nature so you can still escape the city) and lots of seating. Great picnic spot. Has a dog park.

★★★★★ — Brian , Apr 2022

Beautiful park! Playground, picnic tables, walking and biking paths, all make thus a great place for people of any age to have fun outdoors. The bikes are cheep to rent and there's wildlife viewers you can use for free. The park is busy all day. There are good area maps with path/trail distances.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
