Confirmed from Grant's Trail Union Road Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Grant's Trail Union Road Trailhead

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (32 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

This trail is Amazing! Great for biking with family, friends, and just a stroll alone. Amazing views! Also, there are pathways with lots of shade just in case you get a little toasted during your walk on the trail! Maps and mile signs are within the trial!

★★★★☆ — Gladys , Jul 2023

Nice trail easy to get to fair amount of parking for the space. Great for bikes and jogging. Well maintained while keeping the nature feel while on the trail.

★★★★☆ — Tony , Sep 2023

A fair amount of gravel parking with lots of easy access to Grant's Trail.

★★★★★ — Koby , Jul 2022

Good destination to start a walk or hike. Watch out for cross traffic on Union - just saw yet another truck blow through a red light.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🅿️ Trailhead parking 3 mentions

“Bit of a pain, parking wise but that's only because it was difficult to get out due to people leaving work at the industrial park.”
